USES OF BENZYL ALCOHOL : Main application of Benzyl Alcohol includes Photographica developing, slide developing. Benzyl Alcohol is bacteriostatic and is used as an antimicrobial preservative against bacteria, molds, fungi yeast although it possesses + only modest bactericidal properties. Benzyl Alcohol ester is used in soap making & Plasticizer industries. Benzyl Alcohol is an excellent solvent for cellulose esters & ethers, natural resins, waxes & gums. Benzyl Alcohol prevents bloom formation during the drying certain nitrocellulose lacquers. Benzyl Alcohol is also used as a preservative in Injections. Benzyl Alcohol FFC Grade is also used in Construction Chemicals.
